At home, so there should hopefully be a few goals here for England. Very low odds, so a stake of £5 is needed to raise the pot from £20 to £22… but it should get the project off to a good start.

Excellent. Was getting a little worried – after the 3 min opener I thought there’d be a flurry of goals… waited and waited but they came in the end.

So here’s the deal: you start with £20 in a online betting account of your choice.

The aim is to win 10% of whatever’s in your account each time you bet. For example, you start with £20, so you need to place a bet which wins £2 PROFIT.

If successful, your balance will stand at £22, so for your next bet you should aim to gain £2.20 to bring your balance to £24.20

And so on…

By betting for low stakes like this, you can choose short-odds bets (although nothing’s a dead cert in betting!) and gradually increase your balance slowly but surely.
